A series of training
workshop on SME Banking Sales Skill was organized with IFC-SEDF funding for
BRAC Bank officials by SRG Bangladesh [SRGB], a leading management

Training on SME Banking Concluded
A
series of training workshop on SME Banking Sales Skill was organized by SRG
Bangladesh (SRGB), a leading research and management consulting firm of
Bangladesh. The workshop was sponsored jointly by IFC-SEDF and BRAC Bank.
The objective of the workshop was to develop selling skill of Unit Heads of
SME Banking division of BRAC Bank. A total 309 Customer Relation Officers of
BRAC Bank attended the program in 12 batches during May-June period. Each
batch of the trainees received two full-days training on SME banking,
interpersonal communication and service marketing. SME Expert Dr Rowshon
Kamal, Communication Expert Mahjabeen Ahmad and Marketing Expert Wazir Alam
conducted the workshop as a facilitator. The major focus of the workshop was
on SME sector overview, portfolio & sector identification, SME loan
practice, interpersonal communication, relationship building, sales
strategies & techniques and service marketing. M Saidul Haq, President of
SRGB also shared his knowledge and experience pertaining to the development
of SME banking sales skill of the participants. |
